Stats question

This may be a silly question, but here it goes.  I recently published two articles. For these articles, my stats show that they have had 21 and 52 unique visitors so far. On my stats report, the top graph shows the correct number of vistiors, but the circle graph (not sure of the technical name for this graph style!) and traffic sources below shows a much lower number.  Is this normal?  Does it take longer for these stats to update?

For instance, the aritcle with 52 visitors only shows 10 visitors in the circle and for traffic sources and the article with 21 visitors only shows 4 visitors in the circle and 6 under traffic sources.

The pie chart doesn't record every source, hence it's lower.   Some links are via proxies or other routes that aren't able to be tracked.

Take the topmost figures as the true ones; and the pie chart as a good indication of where the majority of your internet traffic is coming from.
