Good job Ryan, I syndicated it for ya, there are some grammar issues in this and some of your longer paragraphs should be broken into 4-6 lines max... (hope you don't mind my critique, some people will judge an entire peice on the grammar)... good read, I may have to write one of these myself as I have been caring for goldfish (all sizes) for a few years and learned a lot along the way. (things you didn't mention there)

Yea! I'm up to 40 articles. Only 10 more to go to reach my first goal of 50!

And now, ahem, I MADE TWO DOLLARS! I was looking at Google Analytics and trying to understand it and went to Adsense and there it was! I haven't been checking those stats cause it was getting too depressing!

I don't understand, though, why Viglink still shows no clicks. I thought I had done all the steps right, but I'll have to see what happens.

It took me 4 months to see my first penny Ragtime, just be patient and it will trickle in then move on to bigger tickles.

Woot!  I just had 27 items purchased through my Wizzley account from Amazon!  They will ship in the next few days.  Nice! Laughing

Eh, why would I tell you that?

I have been seeing more and more sales through Wizzley.  I had another great day today with 21 items shipped.  This is fun!

Thanks, Jo!

There must be a way to delete a post, no?

Nope, they purposely removed that capability- and they added a time limit for being able to edit any of your posts... I'm sure they have a good reason for it... but I protest not being able to edit your forum posts even months later...

Why, Jerrico? So that spammers can go in and add links to all their old posts?

On Tuesday, I achieved my tenth Editor's Choice.  Today, I posted my 200th Wizzle.  Ok, Katie beat me by a good few hours on that one, but I'm thrilled for us both.

:D

why would a spammer have old posts to insert them into? Don't you have to be logged in to post in the forum at all? If someone spammed, was banned, they couldn't access old posts- and I'd like to think our group of writers here are smart enough not to spam anyone...

If someone is caught spamming the forum aren't they terminated from writing or participating on the site? Seems to me there is a pretty good grasp on spammers trying to spam anything here- people report it immediately, you guys respond, and it doesn't seem to happen that often. I get protecting against spam but there is a point of diminishing returns where freedoms are removed when there really isn't a need.

Don't you moderate changes to posts? this it seems would eliminate any spam links from posting as they'd be removed as soon as you (or the other mods) see them.

I'm sure you have your reasons, and I get spam protection, just voicing my concerns...

Oh, that was just off the top of my head. But if you have good reasons for your concerns, you should start a new thread on this topic. Let's not spoil this positive environment here with complaints.

Nobody is complaining, voicing concerns, a community director should know the difference.
