Tech Wizards I need Your Help

I started a self hosted blog on Wordpress.org yesterday. They automatically start you off with a template I don't like. They have other free ones to choose from, but I don't know how to get it up on my blog. Your help will be appreciated.

If you go to your dashboard, you should see a list on the left. Go down to Appearances, and then themes. They should all come up and just click on Activate under the one you want.

I think I've figured this out. It's always helpful to read directions which I hate to do.

I would love more helpful info regarding WordPress.  I mostly find it easy to navigate but I have a hard time understanding my self-hosted site.

Maybe we could collaborate Brenda.  Let me know your URL once you get it going, will you?

Main thing to know about Wordpress.ORG is that they are really strict about ads ect on their blogs, so be careful about what you promote there, they shut you down very quickly!  SY

That's right Sam. Wordpress.com does not allow ads. I went with Wordpress.org, because I could host it myself and put whatever I want on it.
