I just stumbled it. Maybe you'll see another little boost.

I was just thinking (which in itself is a dangerous thing!) - your organic Google traffic is not very good. Perhaps you should consider re-optimizing your article, Jo? Yes, you rank for "Liu & Xu", but almost nobody is searching for this term. You may want to consider taking on the stronger competition for greatest love stories or best love stories, i. e. changing your title to something like ... One of the best love stories ever told - Liu and Xu One of the greatest love stories ever told - Liu and Xu ... and then repeat your chosen term at the beginning of your description (plus in the intro and in one module title). Of course, I can't give you any guarantee that this will work. You can watch it for a few weeks, and see if it brings you more Google traffic. If not, you can always change it back. (only read page one of this thread so far), This is EXACTLY what happened to me on HP with my acne hub, someone shared it on reddit and traffic started to surge, it tapered up to about 2500 uniques a day and stabilized- that hub earned me thousands upon thousands of dolalrs in amazon sales, eBay sales (when you could earn from sales) and adsense clicks. This may be your golden egg the wizzley goose laid :) Good luck! jerrico |

Thanks Chef! I've changed the title, but I'm not sure how to do the rest without falling into the trap of keyword stuffing. Thank you very much for Stumbling it. :) It would be great if that was true, Jerrico. Let's hope that it is. My stuff: A Writer's Guide to Wizzley | Beautiful Britain!

Keyword stuffing? No way! Simply incorporate your phrase in the natural flow of your writing. I took the liberty and adjusted your description, intro, amazon module title, one of the last text modules (kursiv; in text), and comments title. Feel free to change what you don't like. Wow! Really?!
Danke! <3 And Jerrico, I see that! Edit: Back! I see what you mean about natural. I had to read it three times to discover a couple of the ones you'd mentioned. Thank you very much. My stuff: A Writer's Guide to Wizzley | Beautiful Britain!

Just wanted to update on this, as it's been nearly two weeks. While there was undoubtedly a boost in traffic on the day, and a lesser amount in the two or three days following, there have been no other visible, short-term benefits to date. My traffic has risen by about 100-300 people since, on a daily basis, but it was heading in that direction anyway. It's difficult to determine whether that would have happened without the Reddit factor. Chitika does appear to have woken up, but again it was doing that in the week before the Reddit link. It's maintained it. I'm also getting more sales on Amazon. None of which are related to the article at the centre of this. In short, I've concluded that the promotion on Reddit certainly didn't hurt anything (other than my ability to read my stats easily! LOL), but there was no material gain either. I hope this was useful. My stuff: A Writer's Guide to Wizzley | Beautiful Britain!
