It might look like I've done sod all here this week, but I've been really busy in the background. I've got a load of Christmas Wizzles, which I wrote last year, where the products have become unavailable in the meantime. It's taking a ridiculous amount of time to update/repurpose/repair them all.
Anyone else getting this?

I don't have any Christmas ones (I really should do them) but I just wanted to say good luck with it all. I was wondering why I hadn't seen something from you in a while :)

I've had some where absolutely nothing was still available. I've been systematically working through dozens of them. Just fixed another one now. Still four more to go!

I haven't been here long enough, but I"m finding this on others sites. Not with Christmas articles, but just across the board.

I don't understand it at all. Surely these products need no tweaking. They were created and listed, then the person behind them could just walk away and wait for the passive income to flood in. What was to be gained from removing them? Other than to annoy the likes of me.
Another article repaired. That was really annoying. 90% of the hoodies and sweaters had completely gone. I've had to hunt through for replacements.

I do feel your pain Jo, what ever happened to evergreen products?
Best of luck. M

It is a reality, unfortunately, and it's a good thing you brought it up to remind us all that we need to check our articles from to time. It seems to happen a lot with eBay, which I'm not really using now.

I have found a way around some of it. When I found that my Celtic Christmas cards were now missing products from two countries and light on others, I just made the cards!
Consider them NOW evergreen products. :D

That's a really good idea. I'll have to pick your brain later to find out how to do that.

Excellent idea, Jo. Some more like that and you won't have to worry about updating them next year ;)

I just got creative in Zazzle, then added the codes to the Wizzley module in the usual way. :D
And that's the general idea, Alex! I'll think of you all, when I've retired to my desert island on the proceeds from all of those Manx language Christmas cards sold.

My articles haven't become that old yet - but it is a good idea to re-visit them and check for missing links.

I still have to figure out how to use Zazzle. Definitely, Jo you are too good at multi-tasking.

Jo, where do you find HTML codes on Zazzle. I just started using it.

Thanks!
And Dustytoes is definitely the person to ask about all things Zazzle. I'm largely just tatting in the product creation section.

I'll ask Dustytoes. It's interesting there, but I'm still learning my way around.

I've done it! I've done it! It's only taken me a week, but I've got all of my Christmas articles tidied with working sales modules!

Jo; you, me and sandyspider are going to have to settle down in the new year to teach me how to conquer Zazzle. Can't do it now - too much else on (the dayjob, argh!!) but my new year's resolution is to look at Zazzle and finish my Twelve Month Challenge for Jodi.
Christmas on Zazzle could be a good time for me, with my polar bear fixation.
Described by one of my clients as 'a literary grammarian', writing, researching and reading are requirements for sanity, at least this side of the keyboard.

Jo, where do you find HTML codes on Zazzle. I just started using it.
HTML for products at Z is in the "share" area of the product page, but all you really need is the product number at the end of the URL at Zazzle - add it to the Z module here.
And Jo...there is still no guarantee that your Z products won't disappear too! But I guess it's less likely. Sorry to hear you are having to re-do - yukkk -o

*defends my Manx language Christmas card with my pen, which is much, much mightier than a sword* What? Where? Why would they take my beautiful creations? I sweated over a hot GIMP for that!
Paula, I'd be happy to help where I can, but Dustytoes is your lady here. She's the one that I go to for all my Zazzle questions and needs.
