I was checking to see if Oriental Trading was a Viglink merchant and the site came up, but there is no commission amount listed. Does anyone know what that means?

It could be a CPC model. I'm seeing the same thing for eBay, a merchant we know that pays per click. This is just my guess. For official clarification it would probably be best to ask them. SEO Praxis: Specializing in WordPress Hosting and Small Business Web Design.

Heard back from Viglink today...i don't think my initial support request went through. Here is the response: Hello Janet, We have a CPC and CPA relationship with Oriental Trading Co., so we will automatically try routing your links through the CPC program, and if they aren't covered they will be routed through the CPA program (Google Affiliate Network). Their program pays 5% per sale. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Regards, Jeremy I would only use Oriental Trading when I really have to (perfect product that can't be found elsewhere) since the commission is low. |
