Is anyone showing VigLInk clicks for the 24th or 25th? I don't have many links set up yet, but find it a bit odd that I haven't had any clicks in 2 days. The site does say that revenue reporting is delayed, but nothing about clicks being delayed.

Yes, I've got clicks showing for both days. Clicks to rover.ebay.com (that would be the Wizzley eBay modules, I think) don't seem to show in the revenue-generating clicks stats though. (They do show in outbound traffic.) I haven't quite worked out the reporting yet. I know eBay works on the value assigned to clicks rather than directly on sales. But on the day where I have two eBay actions reported it shows no revenue, whereas I have revenue (small!) on other days. Does the revenue show up on a different day to the actions? I'm confused! |

Ok, atleast I know it is working. I do have Ebay module clicks showing under this section 'Best Links for Total Revenue'. Is that the 'revenue-generating clicks stats' you are referring to? Good point about Ebay, though. I am not sure how they are working it. |

Although I don't claim to be intimately familiar with VigLink's reporting, I do interpret their "Revenue reporting is delayed" message in exactly the way as Terri mentioned. It appears that revenues show up on the day the merchant reported it back to VigLink, rather than the actual day the revenue was generated. The clicks however seem to get reported in real time (more or less).

Normally, Terri, Ebay comes back with numbers on the day after (like Amazon), but I do not know how Viglinks reports it. You guys are fast. I am working on my first Viglinks page today. I will mostly be using VigLinks for ebay, cafepress (turned down cause I am in NY), zazzle keyword search links and a party site which I was dropped from due to living in NY. This party site has custom products that can't be found elsewhere. |
