Warning: Viglink Merchant List Isn't Always Accurate

I love using Viglink to add some different products to my Wizzles. I got super excited when I saw Etsy listed with them. However, I noticed that no amount of commission was listed. Normally Viglink provides this info. When I Googled the Etsy affiliate program, the results were confusing and in conflict with each other. 

So I contacted Viglink support. Turns out that the merchant list is updated manually and it can be wrong once in awhile. Etsy does not have an affiliate program with them. To their credit, they answered my question within a few hours. 

This is the first time since I started using Viglink that I've had this problem, so I don't want to be an alarmist. However, it's something to be aware of. 

I also use Viglink on a couple of my blogs, and I think it's good to have this option. But it's always good to question, and support has been helpful.

Thanks for the heads up.  Do you reckon this holds true for any merchant listed without commission details alongside?

It might Jo. I've gotten to the point now that I just do a Google search on any merchant before I add them to a Wizzle.
