What was the problem? I hope mgmt can find a long-term solution - having the site down is NOT good as far as the Google Gods are concerned Check out my blog at Passive Income Online

Ah.... You're back, Wizzley! Don't do that to us! |

Nobody is happy when sites go down, but unfortunately it's somewhat a part of life here on the Interwebs. It can happen to any site, no matter how big or small or famous. (Anyone on Squidoo remember seeing "Tentacles in a twist" more than once?) We truly apologize for any inconvenience. We promise we don't take this lightly and will look into more ways to lessen the chances of outages in the future. But unless it were to become a habit I don't think Google will hold this against us. If we get any volunteers we would also consider bringing a sacrificial virgin offering to the "Gods", just to be on the safe side. Any takers? kajohu: 15. Jan 2012, 19:09 We're working on that one, too. We've gained a lot of insight from this terrible event. Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

Yes, we need an alternate meet up location. We want to know that all of you are safe. My first thought was, NOOOOO! They've been abducted by aliens. My husband tried to console me first, then tried logic second. Nothing worked. Every half hour I would try to get to Wizzley. It made me feel better to realize that our Wizzley team is scattered around the world, so it would be almost impossible - unless they were very smart aliens - to get everyone at once..... No I haven't been drinking today. |

Your first suspicion was spot-on, Digby. At 4:00 a.m. (CST) 17 green gremlins lifted me out of my bed and swiftly took me to their space ship. There, they threw me onto a pile of pajama-clad bodies. After I'd recovered from my initial shock, I began to recognize the faces of Anne, Simon, and Hans. I thought, "Oh, sh..! Why do they all wear pink jammies?" And so did I. When we tried to order breakfast, the greenest of all munchkins (he looked like Ron) stepped forward and yelled at us, "We have server issues! Go cook it yourself!" Normally, that's no problem for a chef. But the space ship was spinning like nuts. So, as soon as I'd cracked an egg into the pan...it flew against the wall like spaghetti for a doneness test. The rest is, as they say - history. Or nonsense. Whichever cooks first. No, I'm still a sober alcoholic. Yes, I channeled John Lennon. I was also missing Wizzley today... It might be a good idea to have backup servers, that are each in a different data center, that are each in a different area. I am NOT an expert in that field, but I might know some experts, if you need a referral... |

{{{{hugs Wizzley}}}}} Why did you break the internet? D: I was checking ChefKeem, WizzleyNews, Jimmie and Brl's Twitters all day! *reads the explaination* Oh! It was aliens! And John Lennon! That's ok then. <3 My stuff: A Writer's Guide to Wizzley | Beautiful Britain!

Yes, that is true. But, the majority of the time, it is just the dashboard/workshop that is down, our pages still load for visitors. Anyway, glad to see everything is back up and running again. |

So glad Wizzley is back. I was having withdrawals! I got so desperate that I published a page on Hubpages... when I really wanted to put it on Wizzley. Oh well... Glad to see everyone's face again. I will say that Wizzley is a lot better for publishing sales type pages (IMO). I found that out today. I did my first sales type hub on hubpages today and got frustrated. I like how easy Wizzley is to use and the options it gives me for things like the Amazon capsule. Color, font, etc. I am a big fan of Wizzley! ChefKeem - your alien story is hilarious. Pink jammies.. oh my. |

JoHarrington: 15. Jan 2012, 20:18 Well, that would've been smart -- to send out a Tweet. I didn't even think of that. How silly of me! |

To be honest - tweeting didn't even occur to me. There were a few requests on Facebook, and I answered them, but we were so feverishly trying to get a handle on this, hoping that we'll be back online any minute now...and then, in the middle of Simon ripping his scalp out, I had to leave for a few hours. I promise we will work hard on a good solution for this situation, ensuring that (if avoidable) it will never happen again, or at least will be solved within a short time. Thank you all for being so nice about it. It helps me recover quicker from that earlier heart attack and unsuccessful suicide attempt. No worries. Those spaceship things happen all the time in Maine. I figures you were feverishly plotting your escape. And lets face it. We don't make moola, you don't make moola. I'm sure that you guys are making sure that you keep your feet on planet earth. |

MOOHLAH! Now I remember: That was the name of the space ship captain! I wonder if one of our competitors had sent the ship...hmm... Nah, nobody takes us THAT seriously. Yet. Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.
