I have been so busy with work, I have not taken any time to decide what I want for myself this year.  This is one of my fatal flaws, and I need to figure out what I want for myself.  I have decided to slow down a bit during January, and am taking more days off than usual, but I think I need to figure out what I need to pamper myself a bit.

What are the rest of you wishing for?

Oh, I hope you can do that, Chef Keem. We want you around a long time! What a great gift to give yourself this year.

I've found something here but I don't know how many countries have it... might be in the US but I don't think so yet.  It's a nicotine breathspray made by the same people that make patches and gum.  When you get a craving just use the spray.  It's super minty and the nicotine gets into your system really fast so the craving goes away quickly.  On good days I only smoke a couple cigarettes a day and use the spray the rest of the time, but most days I try to go in a spray, spray, smoke pattern when the urge hits.  I'm not ready to quit completely but it has really helped me cut down and put me on a good path towards quitting.

Nicorette Munspray (it's in Swedish but you'll get the general idea)

I'm with you Paula, haven't give much thought to what I'd like, but I did buy myself a vacuum (hand held) for cleaning up cat hair from the stairs - how exciting huh???

Okay - a real gift for me would be some art stuff - canvas, pens, and paints - I've never painted but am thinking I will give it a try this next year and I will definitely be doing some drawing. I recently bought an easel.  Unless Santa brings them, I will have to give them to myself.  But then I will get exactly what I want... !

Glad to hear you will take some time off Paula - for you that probably means 10 minutes instead of 5... Wink

And good luck Chef - yes, quit soon!

You are not too far off, Pam, but I did ask my part time help to work every Monday in January, so at least I get to be at home.  Wink
