Hi peeps! I took 4 days off the Interwebs - we call it Easter around here, or specifically a large out of town dance comp that we danced in! But I have been focussed on a new site of mine. Travel has always been my passion but I've never really figured out how to make money from a travel site! And over the years I've seen quite a number of successful travel sites who are written by people who have very little travel experience compared to me (I do have 30 years!) So I have taken the leap and set up Lis'sTravelTips.com - its all a bit scary because I'm actually trying to build my own brand based on my expertise and writing skills - something I've never consciously done. (The site Sam linked to was a complete accident - really - I didn't develop it consciously to what it is now). I now have the site looking OK and have done some keyword research - in fact I now have some search traffic which is exciting. But I am also trying to develop a social following - so I am trying to incorporate traditional "blogging" - (not kw focussed articles - just stuff that people want to read and more importantly engage with) into a site which has information that people are actually searching for. I think it would be a great trick to pull off - but I've not seen a site actually do it to any great extent! Check out my blog at Passive Income Online
