I'm chuffed to bits. I just received notification of my first Zazzle sale.

Just a postcard of one of my b&w photos from the 60's but the real buzz is that someone liked the image enough to put their hand in their pocket to purchase it.

Sorry, just had to share!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Definitions:

Chuffed = pleased as ninepence.

Ninepence = approx 4 pence (UK) or 6 cents (US).

6 cents (when lisped) = ESP

ESP = Extra Sensory Perception.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Hahahah - no joke - my Zazzle store is called "Black & White Perception" - is that five levels of separation, or what?

OK, it's official - I've gone bonkers.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Definition:

Bonkers = mad.

Brenda - so far just one Wizzle. Then pinned the images, twittered, Google+'ed, FB'd and Ping'd the article.

Congratulations!!!! I know the excitement. I was thrilled when I made my first two sales, even if it was to my family. The third one though was to a total stranger. THAT was a high! Let's hope for lots more sales for both of us!!!! (And everyone else here!!!)Smiley

Yay!  Congrats - I still get thrilled, after 5 years, when I make my sales, but the first one was super wonderful.

Now you realize that it just might turn into something... maybe something big!!

(I love that English "chuffed" saying!)

Here's to many, many more humagaia...

Here goes on the ninepence 4 pence issue.........

Ninepence (9d) is different to nine pence (9p).

Ninepence was a former value of money in the UK - prior to 1971 or 1972. It was 9d or 3/4 of a shilling which was 12d.

12d became 5p when the UK money changed to decimal.

So 9d is equivalent to approx 4p.

Does that help?

I'm old enough to remember that far back but too old to remember much that far back!

Congrats humagaia. It is a wonderful feeling that lasts a long time.

I still get a warm glow when I remember my first sale of a product I designed myself!  I couldn't believe someone actually bought it.
