Whoot!....just got a Zazzle sale

I'm chuffed to bits. I just received notification of my first Zazzle sale.

Just a postcard of one of my b&w photos from the 60's but the real buzz is that someone liked the image enough to put their hand in their pocket to purchase it.

Congratulations!!!! I know the excitement. I was thrilled when I made my first two sales, even if it was to my family. The third one though was to a total stranger. THAT was a high! Let's hope for lots more sales for both of us!!!! (And everyone else here!!!)

Yay!  Congrats - I still get thrilled, after 5 years, when I make my sales, but the first one was super wonderful.

Now you realize that it just might turn into something... maybe something big!!

Here goes on the ninepence 4 pence issue.........

Ninepence (9d) is different to nine pence (9p).

Ninepence was a former value of money in the UK - prior to 1971 or 1972. It was 9d or 3/4 of a shilling which was 12d.

12d became 5p when the UK money changed to decimal.

So 9d is equivalent to approx 4p.
