Hiya,

You know that I'm a noob at looking at data relating to website magazine sites.  But this seems quite big to me:

That's from Alexa.com.   Am I right in thinking that Wizzley is absolutely owning the world at the moment? At least when it comes to loyal and returning readers?

I'm hoping that someone more knowledgeable will tell us precisely what we're looking at here, so I can adopt the right level of pride.

Go Wizzley!

yours

Jo

That's what it looks like. Look at Suite101. I'll be glad when they get their site completely revamped.

I always take Alexa data with a pinch of salt.

It only tracks data from those that have the Alexa toolbar installed, and those people are all going to be webmasters, online writers, marketers of some description, or anybody else who will actually know what Alexa is.

I would suggest that with Wizzley still being a small site, the data sample is too small for that graph to be the slightest bit useful.

I am logging in several times a day for a start, and I use the Alexa toolbar. The typical internet user, the one that you are trying to sell something to, won't have the toolbar installed.

I didn't realise that.  I thought Alexa was much more authoritative!  Thanks for the perspective.
