I was surfing through Amazon to monetize an article and saw this, thought I'd share :)

Why would anyone spend any money on info you can get for free, just as comprehensive, and, much better, updated and with outstanding member and staff support?

Yea I'm sure it's just a "sign up" type book, the value would be in it being organized, some good tips and tricks, and of course strategies for marketing and writing a good wizzle...

Have you read it, Jerrico?

Who is this author, anyway?

Has she published anything of exemplary value on Wizzley?

Has she introduced herself and said: "Look, guys, I hope it's okay with you that I try to make a few bucks off of your creation. Yes? No?"

No, she hasn't.

The book was published in February. We've made a lot of changes since then.

Does she offer regular updates?

I don't think so.

The lone review looks like she's written it herself.

I'm not a big fan of sneaky opportunists.

Good points. I think for a book like this to be useful they'd need to include basics on creating articles and monetizing them but everything needs to be untouched by any updates... possibly updating it when major changes happen and adding when new features are available but overall it would have to be done correctly.

No I've not read it, I too don't like sneaky opportunists who write things like this just to get sign ups... I wrote one (a users manual of a sort)  for HP but it's goal was to teach internet marketing using 2.0 sites as a sandbox- the focus being on timeless concepts that won't change much...

but don't paint judgement on this woman just yet, she may be an honest writer who found wizzley and wanted to earn money telling others, gaining signups etc... so long as the information isn't the same tired regurgitated IM crap and an actually useful guide. I thought about buying it but I don't use kindle and it's only available that way... I'd be curious to see how it's written actually.

Jerrico
