Wordpress post sometimes don't show up in Tag Listings (through Explore Topics)

Hi there,

I'm posting on a Wordpress blog and I notice that some of my posts fall by the wayside. They are not picked up by Explore Topics. Did that happen to you too? I included some tags with them and when I search for one of those tags there's nothing / nothing of my new post.

Do you think that Wordpress does that on purpose to reduce the number of posts under each tag? Because when I think about it, I imagine there's much more than what we get when we search for a specific Topic.

I haven't ever seen this happen, and I have two wordpress blogs and use tagging pretty extensively.  I tend to use under 20 tags per post, and I'm very careful to limit myself to relevant ones.  I also don't tend to pick the highest-traffic or highest-profile tags, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I'd be curious to see your blog and an example of a post and some tags, if you'd care to share.  That might shed more light on the situation!

I have noticed that in order to appear in the list, you need to add the tags before publishing the post...I've added tags after the fact, and not appeared in the list then!
