I applied for adsense what seems to me a long time ago. My application is still on hold. How long does it generally take them to review applications?

Under what conditions do they reject applications?

On my application should I have specified wizzley where it says: sites authorized to show ads?

Have you tried to log into your AdSense account, Sheri? Maybe it's approved and you missed the notification (or they didn't send one)? It's hard to answer your questions without knowing exactly what you did, back then, and what happened in the meanwhile, etc.

I've been logging in for days and always the same message, that it's still under consideration for approval.

I read a few forum posts over there and just found out that it seems that is a common problem - that people can wait for a long long time before getting approved. Is that not the general experience of wizzlers?

Sheri, I had to wait for 19 days before I got approved.  I can understand how painful the waiting period can be.  I would suggest that you keep writing in the mean time so that as soon as you get your approval, you can immediately start earning.

Also, I heard that the adsense application process has changed and now they have a 2 step approval.  Now they approve the websites and give an ad code to be placed on the site.  This ad only shows blank ads and after you are approved for step 2, you are granted total access to your adsense account.  

So which step are you on now?  Have you cleared the preliminary check?

I went back and checked again today and I see that I apparently passed the first stage - now I have to define all sorts of things that I have no idea what I'm supposed to fill in.

Are there any guidelines for this if wizzley is the only place I'm using this?
