bounce versus exit rates and one-page articles

I understand the importance of understanding bounce and exit rates for blogs and websites but when we are writing one-page wizzles, do these stats have any meaning for us?  After all, maybe it's preferable if someone bounces away to one of our affiliates (and even buys, wish wish) or exits because they found the answers they were looking for.

So do these stats have any meaning for us?

I wouldn't say they have no meaning, it's good to get people moving between your own pages, and also to others pages for the overall good of Wizzley. But yeah, really I want them to click on that affiliate link.

What I tend to look at is time on page. Are people sticking around when they get to the page?

Actually, it seems people are reading what I am writing - getting times from 1-15 minutes on my page at the extremes with many about 7 minutes on my page. That's good, isn't it?

So they seem to be enjoying themselves and so far no purchases (except two zazzle products that I did sell not to friends or family).
