Do I have to physically place ads on my pages?

Hi folks,

Had this from Chitika which has puzzled me.  I thought they placed the ads on my pages, and so far it looks as though they have placed one or two there (just black text, no image, nothing else, rather boring looking and I can't think why anyone would click on them).  But I read this memo to say that I should place the ads there personally.  If so, from where do I get them?

Only on your own websites, Mari. Here on Wizzley, all you do is enter your Chitika ID in your settings. Nothing else.

However, if you have an AdSense account, consider using that instead of Chitika. It's much better.

Thanks for making this clear.  I thought this was the case but Chitika's email confused me.

Chef, I thought we weren't allowed to switch from Chitika to adsense.

Brenda - you can use either Chitika or AdSense, but not both at the same time.

And yes - you can switch anytime. However, if you have an AdSense account, stick with it.

In your personal Wizzley settings, take out your Chitika ID (in the Chitika box) and enter your AdSense pub-ID (in the Google AdSense box).

Chef, There wasn't an I.D. in my personal settings for Chitika, but my username was there. I removed it. Will that Work? I added my adsense acct. # to Google settings. What do they mean by Google Channel?

Your Chitika username = Chitika ID. It should work.

The "Channel" is something you can set up to track your specific income from Wizzley pages.
