Ebay and Viglink Approval

So I'm concerned about Viglink and Ebay approval. I don't relish the thought of having to write a lot of ebay Wizzles and send them non-affiliated traffic prior to approval. According to their Knowledge Base this is the proces,

"We have a limited number of tracking IDs we can assign for eBay, so we reserve them for sites that can send traffic over a certain threshold.  Once we see consistent traffic to eBay from your site (provided it falls within eBay Partner Network's guidelines) you will be assigned an eBay ID and your links will be affiliated. "

So if I'm reading this right I just keep writing and hope for the best? Does Wizzley just get one of those tracking IDs and then we each have to get individual permission to use it?

I have emailed support with one of my ebay pages and asked them for approval, but haven't heard back. Have many of you found this to be an easy approval process? And basically I should just keep writing ebay Wizzles and everything will be okay?

they affiliated mine after 1-2 clicks at best  0.20 cents and it's possible those clicks came out of wizzley's end anyway (they got/would have gotten the clickcome anyway) Money Mouth. My Viglink woke up this month and last, getting clicks almost consistently (one a dayish)... all eBay click sales/clickcome.

I'm letting viglink add links to ebay and if someone clicks those links fine, but I'm not purposefully sending them business for 10 cents a pop when I can send the same person to Amazon and get paid a slice of the pie equivalent to my contribution-

I'm going to go back and remove all the eBay modules in my earlier stuff and replace with Amazon products only... it's sad eBay went to a click only payout- maybe when sales sharply drop because of this unilateral move, they will realize how important it is to keep the traffic senders happy by sharing the profit :) then I'll add them back...

Your problem with updating the eBay module was also an issue- I didn't mind checking that but the hassle isn't worth 10 cents a click (where sales would have made up for the hassle)...

Whew, 89th article coming! I'm 10 away from 100 (almost)!

Thanks Jerrico and 2uesday. It's so strange. I'm showing no clicks or sales in my Viglink dashboard. But when I checked my PayPal account there's a $3.47 payment. I really don't know what to make of it.

So wait, Jerrico, if someone buys something on eBay you DON"T get a share of the profit? That cannot be it. Are you just simply saying they pay way too little for a purchase compared to Amazon?

eBay changed their affiliate program from pay per click and profit share (peice of the sale), to ONLY paying out for the clicks- no longer can you make a piece of the sale (at least not on Wizzley and I hear HP too... I made a lot of money on commmission sales so this is a sad day for eBay indeed.
