External Links

Hi there, 

I am sure the answer is on here somewhere but I am currently struggling to find it. 

My question is whether this site is like Hubpages or Squidoo when it comes to external links. In other words, is there a limit on external links? Do we have to use the amazon module exclusively or can we mix it up with our own associate links etc?

Also, there are stacks of lenses on squidoo that as far as I can see are just lists of links. Is that an acceptable format here or are there limits as with hubpages? I am just trying to get my head around the site and see how I should go about writing and what topics are the best to choose.

you'll find a lot of info on our quality requirements by clicking on "Help" in the top menu bar and then scrolling down to the last section.

Too many outbound links don't make any sense. We trust that our authors exercise moderation, but we will mark excessive linking for correction.

We ask that our authors use our Amazon, Zazzle, and AllPosters modules for their ads. No personal aff-links are allowed for these 3 companies. You may use your own aff-codes for Shareasale, CJ, Pepperjam, or any other affiliate companies for which we don't provide modules.

Link lists are not acceptable, because they're not articles. We're looking for quality-content that is truly useful to the readers. Keep that in mind and you can't go too wrong.
