I've tried everything I can think of, deleted and exited from the page, but I still have an enormous gap between modules of text and images. How come? Can anyone help me?
I click on text, then type in my deathless prose. Then click on Image (but the image doesn't go where I want it but that's another story), then click on text again and it starts way, way down, leaving an unsightly gap between.
Would really appreciate some help. Many thanks

Do you have an article live that show that problem? That would make it sooo much easier to help you! SY

Could you post the HTML behind the module? It seems like there's a lot of rogue <p></p> tags that are causing the spaces.
Adding images where you want them in forms like this is always a brutal task, I tend to just only use the image modules.

I found an article of yours that shows that problem http://wizzley.com/isle-of-wight-for-visitors-3/ In the text module go into html view and delete all <p> apart of the very last </p> tag. That should sort it out. Or, if that is too technical for you, just go into normal edit view and make sure there are no empty lines after the last character. Happened most likely when you copied and pasted your text from a text editor ;-) SY

I had this problem too. If you go into your Isle of Wight (nice) article in edit mode and put the curser at the end of this sentence England's finest resort islands is second to none.(here) - then press the delete button about ten or fifteen times, when you save it you should find that this block of text is nearer to your pic below - if not satisfactory, go in again and repeat the delete thing a few times until the pic is brought up to the right position.
I do this a lot and it works for me, so hope it helps.

Many thanks for your help. I thought I had tried deleting the lines, but obviously I had not gone into the correct edit mode or something. Problem now solved much to my relief.

Many thanks to all who replied to my cry for help. Problem sorted now. I've still got to find out how to insert photos into the text, but for the moment will stick to the 'image' button. Word Press is so much easier!

Open up a text module and look at the toolbar at the top. See the little picture of a three, third from the right? It's the same one as here, in the comment box to reply on the forum. Click that and you'll get a pop up, which allows you to insert pictures into your text.
