I am trying to post links in an article (a book review), one to the book itself on Amazon and the other to the author's website, but in each case I keep getting the message that the URL is not valid.
Can anyone help? I have clicked on the link icon, copied the URL from the Amazon website and inserted it where asked, and in the case of the author's website I have copied this and also tried adding it manually, all to no avail.
Would appreciate comments.

This is all to do with that known bug relating to broken links. It's annoying as anything, and shouldn't be happening, but it's something to live with right now.
For the Amazon book, it's as well to simply drop it into an Amazon module, where it will work.
As for the author's website, my friend had some luck the other day by finding the mobile URL. That worked. It's not an ideal solution by any means, but it is a solution. Otherwise, it's a case of keep on trying the main site URL over and over again - perhaps clearing your cache in the middle - and hoping that it'll eventually take.

Ah, hit a snag. How do I insert an Amazon module into my text. It came up once in another article but I can't seem to find it again.

The same way you would add any other module to your page. Click on it in the right sidebar, and it appears on your page. Then you can move it around to the desired spot.

Thank you chefkeem. I hadn't thought to look at the side panel, must be one of those weeks. All sorted now and many thanks.
