Naaaa, we didn't want to go home! We never really sleep! We had a pretty short notice - that's because the longer we waited, the more new data was about to get lost by rolling out the backup. Yet, we'll provide you with all lost texts manually ... just give us a note! We do have all publicly lost data saved locally! It just not that easy to merge this data with the rolled back database :-/ |

humagaia: 07/24/2013 - 02:30 PM Couldn't agree more! Really people, get in the habit of writing off site and THEN publishing NOT writing, publishing and then do a back up! Sorry to hear about your loss Jo - a hard lesson earned! SY |

Hey Sam, the big boom on the home page might be in your cache. I just had the same "problem". So again: don't worry! We've got all your data saved locally and a short note is to have them delivered :-) Sorry |

Simon: 07/24/2013 - 02:42 PM You lucky bugger, Jo - that's if you haven't already recreated all your lost article. In which case, you unlucky bugger, Jo! Just sitting here waiting for your post saying 'thank you' or not to Simon!
Oooh didn't have to wait long, it was there before I published - or is that the Doctor playing silly buggers. And Jo, NO you have to request the stuff from Simon - he'll send it to you (I think).

I LOVE SIMON! I LOVE HIM TO BITS! I have my entire article back to the very point where I went for a lie down out of the heat. It's all ready to continue tomorrow. He found it and put it back. Simon, you freaking own! Danke! Paul - :p Chaz - I cultivate my Belgian friends. They have waffles and chocolate over there. If I play my cards right, they might even withdraw Brussels sprouts from the world. Sam - Awww! thank you. <3 My stuff: A Writer's Guide to Wizzley | Beautiful Britain!

Jeez Jo. I'd have thought you of all people would have learned from the Other Place to write in Word and copy across! You know what their editing tool was like for being, well, a tool... Described by one of my clients as 'a literary grammarian', writing, researching and reading are requirements for sanity, at least this side of the keyboard.
