I wrote a page on How to make a Dreamcatcher Gourd and went to look for it on Google. I found it on page 3 (Before I broke up my Squidoo lens...the page break one, it was on page 1) for the search term Dreamcatcher Gourd.
Anyway, I found it on pg. 3 but the Title is Kathy McGraw on Wizzley? I didn't make that the title, and heck even I wouldn't click that :) So, did I do something wrong to get that as my page Title?

Kathy, I think what you are seeing is the list from your profile page.
I just looked. Doesn't seem to be indexed yet. Although you are getting links from your profile page, and category pages.

Paula- I am confused...I just looked again, and now it is the last one on pg. 2...and yes it goes to my profile page.
So, what is indexing...isn't that where your article shows on Google? How do they have it for the search term, but not listing the article and putting the profile on there?
I also saw that before I took the 2nd page of my Squidoo lens and reworked it for here it was on pg.1 and the first page of the page break is also listed...but on pg. 2. Hmmm will be interesting to see how my page ranks later :)

Guessing, but what I think happened is that your profile page was already indexed (appearing on Google) so it picked up the phrase from there, but your actual article hasn't indexed yet (not on Google). Not all pages index at the same rate, one of the quirks of Google.
Your page will probably show up within 24 hours. Where it ends up in rankings will probably change for a while until it settles in.
When you search on Google sometimes the search engine picks up the first line of text from that page, but sometimes it picks up related text from another spot on the page. That is what I think it is doing right now with your profile page. Essentially it is a backlink to your article from another place on Wizzley.

This is weird too.
I typed in "wizzography" in yahoo search and this came up,
Self-Portrait of ohcaroline Painting a portrait of who I am and what has shaped ... Who Is WebWriter - My Wizzography wizzley.com/self-portrait-of-ohcaroline -
The "who is webwriter-my wizzography" is the title of my wizzongraphy. But when you click on the link, it takes you to the self portrait of ohcaroline

Looks like there may be some benefits to publishing articles first and then the wizzography.

WebWriter, Yahoo hasn't indexed your wizzography yet. They are showing ohcaroline's page, and the text is just a few excerpts from that page. The title of your page was in the sidebar under "Related Pages".
You can easily see what Yahoo saw in that page when you click on the "Cache" link. Your search terms will be highlighted. Look here to better understand:

I guess the main thing to understand is that the search engines do not necessarily index things in the same order that we publish them, nor do they index in a consistent time pattern. Sometimes it takes longer than others. Just write, they will index within a few days.
