Hi, I was trying to post a comment on kinworm's latest article (http://wizzley.com/personalized-and-boxed-tropical-christmas-cards/) and noticed there was no module. I then chose a different page -- same thing.

I think writers have the option to show comments or not.

I noticed this on another of kinworm's articles.

Sorry for confusing anyone, that is my fault entirely.

You get the option to turn off comments. So I have been turning them off on the more product based pages while leaving them switched on with my craft pages etc where I tend to get more external comments coming through.

The reasoning behind it is because I don't have nearly as much time online as I used to. I've gone from having at least 5 whole days a week down to a max of 2. So anything that frees up my time so I can just focus on writing articles (my favorite bit!) is good. Or so I reasoned.

However, I didn't realize how much it might confuse people. I've had personal messages about it too. So I'm thinking that perhaps leaving them switched on might just be the best way forward.

I underestimated how much people do like the option of commenting. So I'm thinking that was a bit of a failed experiment! Smile

I am under the impression that comments can raise your article in rankings so it might be worthwhile to leave the comment option open, but of course it's your page, so do as you want!

I gave you stars anyway...Innocent...because those pages are good!

Thank you very much :)

Quite a few of my new articles are actually ex Squidoo / Zujava / Hubpage ones which are being re-written for Wizzley. I hope they find a permanent home here because I don't want to be moving things around any more.

I never even thought about the article score issue so that's a good point.

This happened to me the other day too and I figured you had chosen the no-comments option, Marie. I do understand busy! But yes, I do think comments are a good idea.

Sorry to hear of another moving from one place to another, again, and like you, I do hope once I get all my articles on Wizzley that they are here to stay.

Thanks for your input, Ruth. I appreciate it and also wish you the best with moving your content too.

Yes, I can't wait to finish sorting out the rest of my articles that need re-homing and then doing something else for a while like some crafting or design work for Zazzle.

Fortunately for me, Marie, I opted out of the Squidoo to Hubpages transfer so I've only one move to make. I'm slow going with getting the articles onto Wizzley and my blogs as I have been doing some home things for a change, mostly by force not choice, ha! Such is life, online and offline!
