Nobody voting in polls?

Everyone tells me polls "increase user engagement." I have added polls to just about all of my articles, and was thinking about adding the "further information" (great Easter egg idea, BTW) after someone has voted, but so far, so few people have voted that nobody would ever get the extra information.

Ideas? (Outside of actually writing "Vote in this poll to see more information about this subject," which I already considered.) 

I have the same problem - people don't participate in polls.  When I was with Squidoo we helped each other and I always vote in polls and try to comment as well.  It does get reciprocated.
