Posting to Facebook via Hootsuite

I normally post all of my articles to Facebook using Hootsuite.  But the last three Wizzley ones have come up with a 'page gone' error message.

This is supposed to show this article, but it's picking up nothing at all.  The picture is random, as is the blarb in the boxes.  Normally it would show the thumbnail used on Wizzley, plus my introduction lines.

Any idea if this error is at Wizzley's end or Hootsuites?  Or, indeed, Facebook's?  Just so I know where to look to fix it!

I do know that Hootsuite had some maintenance work recently.  I don't know if my issues began then, because I had writers' block for a few days. It was certainly doing this afterwards though.

Don't know which it is for certain, but there was another thread where Chef said there was a known Facebook bug when sharing from Wizzley. Think Katiem2 raised a question regarding a similar problem to yours but not through Hootsuite.

The workaround was to wait a day or two and try again.

Chaz is correct. We know of a fb bug that prevents posting correctly on the first day of a newly published article. Simon checked into this again yesterday. He says it's something on fb's side.

Ah!  Ok.  Thanks all.  I'll just wait it out and stop tatting. :D

If it's same day, does that mean that I can post it later in the week?  And if so, who wants to volunteer to remind me to do it?  *cheeky face*  LOL

What the heck is Hootsuite?

Hootsuite is one of those online programs that assists you in your everyday social media interactions. 

If you don't do Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and the like, then you don't need to worry about it Brenda.

Chaz is right, but I also wanted to add a warning that, if you were planning to check out Hootsuite, it's down for maintenance this weekend.
