Problem with Clicks

There is either a bug in the system or a problem with revenue share, which I wanted to bring to your attention. Yesterday, there were 31 clicks on one of my articles that gets a fair share of traffic. However, my personal account shows only 4 clicks for the entire day, across all my articles. Something seems wrong. Can Simon or someone help?

I've noticed this too. I thought it was just me.

I'm not Simon, but I am a geek.

Where are you all seeing these clicks?   As in is it Amazon, Google/Chitika, Zazzle, page traffic etc?

Jo, I am seeing all these clicks in the internal module Amazon click section. These are not translating to real clicks anywhere else. At the very least, there appears to be a bug in the system.

I wonder if this is related to WritingCowboy's issues over on the other thread? I've not earned a red cent from this site so far so I can't honestly comment. I just need to get writing.

Described by one of my clients as 'a literary grammarian', writing, researching and reading are requirements for sanity, at least this side of the keyboard.

Paula, I'm not sure, but if that is the case, then the problem needs to be addressed. I'm thinking it's probably just a bug, but I don't know. If it's just a bug, it still should be corrected, so we're not wondering what's going on.

Hi ologsinquito - Can you please explain how are you checking the number of clicks? Is it for single article or in total. I can't make head or tail of the statistics.

WriterArtist, I'll send you a private message explaining just how to check. It's long and involved.

Here is an update on the click problem. I've been in touch with Simon (the tech guy) and he is going to fix this. It appears to be a bot. I didn't want to leave the mistaken impression that we are not getting our share of the clicks, because that's not the case. Instead, this is just a bug, which should be fixed shortly.

Sorry!  I asked for information, then promptly forgot about the thread!  But Simon's the best guy to fix this anyone, so thanks for the update. <3
