Hi there, I'm just coming back to Wizz after a lengthy absence Embarassed and now I can't seem to upload an image into a text box - if you look at my introduction article http://wizzley.com/who-is-that-woman-annieangel-aka-annmackiemiller/ where I have updated my 2012 news you'll see what I mean, it just shows up as a broken image. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I've tried using smaller sizes, same result, tried it with a URL and without a URL - same result. HELP

Hi Annie, could you upload this image again and tell us, what browser you are on? That can help us find the reason ... I already have a clue.

Thanks, I just saw the error occured again. That's wonderful - from a developer's point of view Tongue Out.

The image's HTML tag looked like this:

The following part in the URL makes absolutely no sense:

<div%20id=%22isChromeWebToolbarDiv%22%20style=%22display:none%22></div>

Do you have any clue, what that could be? I guess you didn't manually change the images URL ... so probably some sort of plugin invalidated it. I try to find out more about it ... it really looks weird though.

The problem seems to be caused by a Chrome plugin. It's described here:

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7074334/what-ischromewebtoolbardiv

To resolve it, they suggest the following (quotation):

This is caused by a Chrome extension called DVDvideosoftTB. It appears to append the above HTML to file upload requests. You can easily disable it:

 • Click on the Wrench icon
 • Click "Tools"
 • Click "Extensions"
 • Disable DVDvideosoftTB

Maybe that will fix it for you. I keep on looking ...

there doesn't seem to be an extension named that.

I guess other extension may show the same behavior ... I couldn't find a solution, yet, but it's good to know the cause.

I wish I could play around with this problem. Do you have other plugins installed in your Chrome? Can you tell me - e.g. via private message - which ones?
