Problem with Pinterest image

I like to pin my articles and when I went to pin my latest one, it had every image from the page except my thumbnail at the top, the one that I would like to use for the pin.  Is this a bug or it is just me?

Simply use your favorite image within your article. Then, Pinterest should feature it in their gallery.

I select the image for the thumbnail specifically because I want that image to represent my article. I write onto the image because it works best for social media such as pinterest that show just an image until you click on it. It used to work on wizzley that the thumbnail was one of the images that appeared when I go to pin - the fact that it doesn't work anymore is a great disappointment to me and keeps me from pinning my new articles.

Is this not something that can be fixed?

Sheri, This happened to me somewhere else and what I had to do was to enter the URL directly onto Pinterest instead of just pinning it from the page. Maybe that will work.

Funny - I just tried that and Pinterest told me that page isn't pinnable. I went back to check and saw that I have allowed pinterest on it.

Isn't the thumbnail image too small to use as a pin?  Mine are always too blurry to use.

I am getting very frustrated with this - Pinterest is a major promotional tool for me. Today I am not able to pin an article - if I do it from the article itself, I do not get my thumbnail - I am NOT willing to use any other image on the article because my thumbnail has text added to make it a good pin image. When i try to do it using the url from the pinterest board itself, it tells me Wizzley is not a pinable site.

Pinning the thumbnail used to work from wizzley. I don't understand why that image no longer appears in the choices of images for the pin.

This is a serious bug, IMHO.
