Problems Publishing a New Page

Just had my first experience actually needing the word count thingie and BOY was it a great help! I was pondering which of my sales items to delete from the page because I just knew I was out of words, when I realized ... I only needed 18 more to publish! Well, heck, I can write 18 words just by flourishing with what's already there, forget adding new stuff!

But looking it over again, I realized I did need just one extra paragraph for a better summation. So not only did your word counter enable me to keep all my sales items on the page, it helped me spot a weak area that needed beefing up!

We made a minor change, to make it more obvious and simple:

Since AllPosters ads are more images than ads, from a reader's point of view, we only count Amazon, Zazzle and eBay products as ads.

Looks like this changed back?
Funny I was just talking about this rule at SquidU too.

"Our rule of thumb is that 400 words of original content enables eight advertisements (including AllPoster images)."

Christene - I believe it's better to include AllPosters ads as well, because some folks have a tendency to go overboard with their image ads. Google may look at such ad galleries as being over-promotional.

Please clarify this.  Is the AllPosters count as an ad for the 50 word limit or not.  There is a discussion going on elsewhere.
