Should I Take the Hat off the W?

Hiya,

I was looking for my article about finding Sycharth.   I knew it was here and, because I'm a lazy git, I did a search for Owain Glyndwr.   It wasn't there.   I tried again with Owain and there it was!

Finding Sycharth - The Home of Owain Glyndŵr

The problem here is that I searched for Glyndwr, whereas it's properly spelt Glyndŵr.  My keyboard doesn't have any W with a hat on it.  I'm assuming that many others searching for the same wouldn't bother with the hat over the w either.  I don't even know why its there!  In Welsh, it would be pronounced the same with a hat or not.

But back to the plot, should I change his name in the title to Glyndwr?   It's not the correct spelling, but is more likely to be searched in that way amongst English speaking people.

yours

Jo

Take the hat off in the title so the search engines are less confused.  But make note of it in the article so it grabs both versions?  That way you'll "own" the search for it without the hat.
