Where Did Lensroll.com Go? Anybody Know?

Hey There...

Some old habits die hard - I started writing online by way of Squidoo 2.5 years ago, and out of habit I always posted and wrote new summaries for each new lens I would write on lensroll and lenslike. Then as I grew, I would post Hubs or Wizzley pages there.

So this habit is hard to break, whether it does any good or not...

But over 3 days ago I looked for lensroll.com and it was gone. A 503 error that says temporarily closed/offline.

Don't know if any of you use it, but did I miss something (usually the case, I might add)? Anyone know where it went?

I haven't used it in a while, and the last time I did there seemed to be a bug, so I don't know what to tell you. Also, it didn't seem to generate any new traffic. So I've decided to concentrate my efforts elsewhere.

Just tried to access lensroll and it returned:

Is temporarily offline.

Operations will resume soon.

So I can only assume that the glitch is temporary and the site will resume soon!

If you want more info I suggest you get in touch with 'Darkside' on HP or Squidoo - the owner of the site. He may be here at Wizzley, but not as Darkside.

I received the same message, but it has been the same for at least 3 days (the last time I tried to access it, I don't check each day, etc.)...so that's why I started thinking maybe it was something bigger than a glitch? I don't count on it or need it per se, just an old habit I've grown used to doing over the years.

If you get error message, more than likely the site is having problems and they are working on it.  I just checked and it is still down.

Glen and Greg decided to take it down before the Penguin update. They didn’t want it to hurt anyone’s lenses.

Any feedback on Lenslike? Same type of thing - just wondering if we should be "unhooking" from that site, too?
