YouTube Videos ok to use?

I've seen a lot of people here and elsewhere putting youtube videos in their articles. Is this ok to do without getting permission from the video owner? Do you put credits up even if they're on the video?

I'm new to this so help would be gratefully accepted.

You may use all YouTube videos that are accessible on our module without paying attribution and without asking for permission. YouTube will block automatically videos, that may not be embedded on articles. Accreditation is also fully done by YouTube inside the videos - that's fine as it is.
