I've just spent three hours familiarising myself with the site and writing my first article. It all seems very exciting!

I do have a couple of questions though. Is this the right place to ask them?

1, Is my article now live?  I thought it would go to an editor first to check it over, but I can see it.

2, I came here on the recommendation of a writer from the German site. I've just realised that he could have commission for that. Can I retrospectively tell someone his name so he gets the due credit please?

yours

Jo

Hi Jo, and welcome to Wizzley!  Smile

The first 5 articles of a new member will get published, but until they're approved by us they are blocked from the Google index. That way we have better control over spammers. Usually, new articles get approved (or not) within a day or two.

After 5 approved articles, you'll get "trusted user" status and your articles are instantly available for indexing.

Also, as a trusted user, your outbound links turn into follow links.

Send a message to support with your referrer's name and we will apply proper credit.

Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

Thank you very much, Chefkeem and Kinworm. It does seem like a wonderful place so far!

I'll look for the support contact and tell them about the man who referred me here.
