Ok, I am here trying to figure out how you do an about page versus Just create a Page. Or maybe you create a page and then call it About somehow link to it.

Finally started to write a page and in the expanded Introduction textbox the tooltip popup says I can add a hyperlink but I see no way to make the http://www.freelancetourist.com/ a hyperlink - it doesn't seem right to just put the full url

Learning curve - this is like Photoshop - so much information and ways of doing things - I have read probably 50 wisers so far - Mostly the making money ones since that is my ulterior motive

Anyway hello - I must go sleep now and will finish my draft on Tuesday maybe by then someone will explain the hyperlink - funny in this area in the menu you have the ability to do a hyperlink

Hello Eileen, welcome to Wizzley!

Once you have published an "about me" page you can select it in the Settings area of your dashboard. There is no special format required; the one you just published is fine.

If you wish to have a hyperlink within the introduction of your page you need to use HTML.

e.g. <a href="http://www.example.com">link text</a> would be the HTML for a hyperlink in its most basic form.

Nightowl,

I saw on lower text boxes you had the option of html but don't remember it on the top one. Anyway after I posted, I went and found more about pages for others and could see what topic area they were under and went there. Started all over. It is fine for now but will have to learn more. Just do it!
