Hi, it's Marisa from HP

Just re-published a couple of old Hubs here.  I feel quite at home already!

I'm amazed how long it takes Hubs to disappear from the Google cache.  I have a few that I unpublished after my traffic crash in December and they're still there.  I know, I'm impatient.

No time to create new stuff right now, I've got a gig fixing up a friend's website which is taking up a lot of time.  I've seriously under-charged her!

Hey Marisa, great to see you over here! You'll love it - I find it has all the best features of Squidoo and Hubpages combined, without all the annoying features. For instance approved authors (with dofollow links) can now insert nofollow into the code if they wish. =)

There is a tool through webmaster tools where you can ask your page to be recrawled faster. Takes 24 hours or so. 

When I left I left pages that were still getting views and moved the rest.

Digby, I agree with you about the HP forums. Way too fierce for me over there. Yikes! I like our kinder, gentler forums over here.

Someone posted on the HP forums to point out that Google says the recrawl request should only be used in emergencies - so I'm a bit cautious about putting Google's nose out of joint...

I was considering doing the same thiing, but then I put my Hubs through Copyscape and discovered how many of them had bits copied. I'd have a huge job on my hands, getting rid of the duplicates before I could consider moving them here.

I had that problem with quite a few of mine when I moved them. It sucks! And Hubpages duplicate checker doesn't seem to pick up most of them, either.

I know you have been here only one month, but about time you got your ars# here Marisa. Look forward to your wizzles and hope the hubs you bring here garner better traffic than they did previously.
