I have a suspicion they only appear when the owner has added something LOL

A question for all of you: 

Should we pin Squidoo lenses and other sites, too - or should we keep the Wizzley pin board reserved for wizzles only?

I think anything that belongs to one of our Wizzlers would be okay.

Ah I hadn't thought that we were just sticking with Wizzley Pages - I can see the benefit of that but would also be happy with a broader posting of anything that belongs to folks here

Okay then...Paul's lenses are pinned and each board has at least one entry. Hope it all works now so you can start pinning.

I would stick to Wizzley only, in the end that user is called 'Wizzley'...

Very odd - I can see the Beauty & Fashion Board on my boards but not the other two - hopefully will resolve in the next 24 hours

I just joined Pinterest and not really sure I know what I am doing.  However, I am willing to help or try to help. LOL..  Just let me know.  

Angel and 2uesday - take your time and first play around with your own Pinterest boards. There is no rush re: Wizzley boards.   

Occasionally, we will pin other sites of our members, too. Mostly wizzles, though.

I agree - not every pin or re-pin equals a visit. But if someone is interested to learn more, they will click through to the original pin and from there to the page.

Tip for quick & easy pinning:

Highlight a descriptive sentence or paragraph on the page before you click the Pinterest icon or your bookmarklet (whichever you like to use). Then select the image.

The highlighted section will automatically appear as your new pin's description.

Don't forget to select the correct board...then pin it!

Takes only seconds, that way.  

Bit bemused by it because the two additional boards and still not appearing in my drop down of boards available to pin to - but I seem to be able to edit them on the Wizzley Page LOL

This is weird, Paul. I don't know what's happening there. 

It might work itself out in  few days LOL Or it might be worth deleting them, recreating and adding pkmcr to them again?

I've left the boards but I've deleted you as a contributor, Paul. Then I've added you again. Let's see what happened by the time I get up tomorrow morning. 

Pinterest is IMO very glitchy. Great concept but lots of bugs and few usability features.

I think we should stick with Wizzley for another reason: Some Squidoo members have a very strong negative reaction - and I think that's an understatement - to their lenses being pinned (judging from some of the posts on the Squidoo forums.) Wizzley has a check-box that allows the author to opt out of being pinned, which takes care of the whole thing. 

I do not look forward to being tarred and feathered on the Squidoo forum for loving and pinning one of their lenses!

I take back what I've said earlier about having only one contributor per board. I guess we can have lots of them, right? I just wanted to avoid that we post the same articles twice. 

Chef - 

Just confirming that we are going with the assumption that we can have multiple contributors per board. I just pinned some of my own wizzles on "Management and Leadership" and am thinking if I am being fair to others who might also have written for it. I will be on the lookout for others' wizzles that fit the category but wanted to make sure that if someone wanted to be included they can raise the hand and volunteer.
