Hello! Hans Simon and the rest of my Wizzley friends,
Please, can we have an "Article list " Module which allows more the 4 items?
Look on my wizzography, I had to divide the technical staff in 3 modules... it doesn't look right...

Sure I can use a text module with a lot of links, but I like "Article list " because automatically show the picture and pick up the description, so it economize some time and look great.

I'd recommend splitting it up in finer niches, for instance - all your wordpress wizzles in one articles module.
But I have to agree that 4 is a rather small number for the maximum amount of articles allowed per module.

I haven't used it for more than four yet so I didn't even realize - but I know in future I would like to be able to put in more than four!

Yes, I can do that but with Wordpress I already have more then 4, and more is coming soon, so it isn't making the problem go away.
Thanks for comment

Hi Michey,
I see your point. Quite a while ago, up to 12 articles per module were possible. However, it is strictly spoken sort of duplicate content. Too many authors on Pagewizz used it to simply boost up their article length. It was rather unpleasent to see those articles, so we reduced the no. of article. I believe we should stick to it.

Hello Simone, I think that 12 is too much , but 4 is too restrictive... and as long you don't restrict the number of "Article list" it is the same thing... at least with 6-8 items per module it will look better.
Thanks for responding

I agree that 4 is really very restrictive. I've already started some pages that are nothing but a place to collect all my links to one type of wizzle page, such as my children's book reviews. I intend to write a LOT more book reviews, and it would be nice to be able to have an orderly, nice-looking "hub" to link to all of them.

Thanks, Simon. Excellent compromise!
When creating wizzographies, we must be aware of the duplicate content issue through the description text of the featured links. It's best to intersperse our article list modules with paragraphs of unique text (min. 400 words).
If the dupe content constitutes more than 20% of the unique text, we'll have to mark the article for adjustments.

I dont know how difficult this may be to do, but surely if in the Article list module there was an option to turn off the description it automatically pulls in and then write our own description, this would do away with the potential problem of duplicate content?

There is an option to turn off the description, AJ. Just uncheck the respective box when you edit your article list module.
