Best tools to increase traffic or combination of all efforts?

I've been implemnting some of the suggestions of more experienced members to increase traffic. And finally, I'm getting more than a quarter from sources outside of wizzley. I wish I knew which of my efforts have been the most helpful, but maybe it's simply a combination of everything I'm doing?

What am I doing? I have created my own website (a work in progress) with backlinks to my writings. I started blogging and am slowly adding my backlinks there also. Then I made a facebook fan page with more backlinks. Am sending tweet updates to Twitter and use twittercounter to improve that account. I'm still working on learning how to effectively use keywords, but not quite sure how to avoid "keyword stuffing" with subtitles. And finally, I'm using ping tools.

So my question is, do you think any of these techniques are better than others? Or... are there better techniques that I haven't yet learned? I truly want to be better, and need the help of any willing to offer a little guidance.

Thanks in advance!

Theresa, start a thread about the keyword issues you are having in the Keyword Section and I will be happy to try to help. Give me an example of a page you are struggling with and I will take a look.

Everything else you are doing looks good to me.

You are doing the right things, and can continue the effort by creating backlinking articles in various places that you do not own.

Thanks Paula! I have read and bookmarked your link. Backlinking from other sites with 200-300 word unique commentary is going to take time, but I can see the benefits.

Someone once said that being successful at this takes a lot of hard work, time and perseverance. That is so true!

Being successful at ANYTHING takes a lot of hard work, time and perseverance, right?  Smile
