Floating bar on right on published articles

I noticed that on the right as you scroll down the page a section including some adsense links "suggestions" floats beside the top right of the browser window dynamically as you scroll down, but there's this long blank space unused. Have you guys thought about just floating that entire right side column (with the author specs, adsense block and the one that's floating currently, instead of just that one section?

This would move the adsense block which may raise CTR, I figure if the 3 links are allowed to float without breaking any rules with adsense why  not the block too (with the author specs as well). This would also give people a quick way to email the author, friend them if they get half way through and want to friend them (without scrolling back up) or have a question they want to private msg the author about and again it may raise CTR on the adsense block.

We've tested that and a lot of other things over the last 10 months. Smile

Consider: the floating sidebar should fit into *most* window sizes. You seem to have a rather large browser window, so the sidebar appears to be not used completely. As Chefkeem said: we really tested a lot and this configuration gave us the best results so far. But thanks for the suggestion - it's definitively a good idea!

Your right, I have a 25" screen and sometimes I forget that's not the "standard"- I bought this  baby for myself from sales made on hubpages/articles as a constant reminder that money can be made online if you put forth effort- been a few years so I keep forgetting my window is not typical of most people's screens.... I retract my side bar floaty suggestion :)

Before this I was on a 15" widescreen laptop, and before that a 14" desktop clunker model monitor-
