Google +1

I watched a training video last night for google plus and google +1.

I just want to remind everybody to click that +1 when you visit a page that you like. I think many of us are not yet in that habit and it is so important to do.

It's not only good for the page but important to google and will work with the new Google Plus.  It's good for wizzley, too.

I think in the next few months those little +'s will be more important than the facebook likes. 

I agree, Joan. My gut tells me those +1's will count strongly in the future.

Absolutely Joan - I notice that my Google + Profile ranks first for my own name ever after my own domains.  The page in your profile which has all your +1's in is going to be getting indexed and don't forget to fill out your domains/links in your Google Profile area

Since Google + likes are the only social signals google can index right now (their deal with Twitter fell through) Google plus is likely to be very important. More important of course if Google+ actually goes mainstream. I don't think it will, but just in case it does - it's a good idea to just plus stuff we like. Not a lot of work after all. 

I've been surprised at how many sites do not yet have Google +1 installed. I put it on my blogs AND educated my readers about it with a blog post.

Kind of like Hubpages has purposely opted to not add it yet. Foolish. I added it to my websites and blogs immediately as well.

Amen Joan, it is true, we have to get in the habit, I am glad you say it!  If you "like" a post means is good, so you also have to +1...  it is good for you, good for author, good for Google ... to aggregare all the activities of a person/business...  and is good for branding yourself...
