Google+ now has fanpages

The pertinant fact is that they are going to be including Google+ fanpages in the search results. Who knows, you may even get a boost from setting one up. It's dead simple to do, just log into your Google+ account and then click "create a page".

You may wish to make a fanpage for your stuff - the fanpages are public - i.e. people can see them when they are signed out, whereas the personal profiles are only visible when signed in. Fanpages means Bing can see them too.

Plus they let you interact on G+ as your fanpage, so if you want to keep your full name and surname only for close friends and family, set up a fanpage for the business stuff and then interact in that circle as the fanpage.
