I just got rather an offensive comment on this wizzle: http://wizzley.com/best-camera-phone-smartphone/
I've considered deleting it, but am leaving it up for now because it shows a bug: that person didn't leave their name (shows as 'guest' on the back end), and now it shows up as though they're me!

Does make one wonder how they could leave a comment without being signed in as a member....wait a minute...isn't there a place in our settings for each article allowing or "disallowing" comments from people not signed in?
I have left mine open to anyone can comment...but if I got a nasty one like you just did, I might change the settings.

Katinka - we have the IP address, and we will do something about it this morning. Hang in there for a little while...I just got up and need some caffeine first

Wow, you want to ban the whole IP? Isn't that overdoing it? I mean - it's probably just some stupid teen. No need to ban their parents, neighbours etc. After all that picture of me is definitely not the most flattering ever taken of me - it's funny I think, which is why I put it up, but it's certainly not 'pretty' or anything.
All I was wondering was about how come they showed up with my name (which is obvious, come to think of it).
What I'd really prefer is if in the dashboard instead of 'guest' it would give the name they entered instead of 'guest', so that I can delete without having to check the wizzle (to see that they used my name).

I'm still waiting for Simon's take on this, Katinka.

Aha, thanks for that information That's a tiny bug; I'm going to fix it in a couple of minutes!
I can't see the comment any more (it's deleted), but I assume, the commenter simply typed in your username as anonymous. That's something I'm reactig very harsh on, and actually, that's the reason why we are showing the IP addresses to the page authors. It prevents fraud comments of that kind.
