I don't like it! All my pages ranged between 0.07 to 0.13 (tested around 14 or so) but this one http://wizzley.com/small-energy-efficient-house-plans/ was a whopping 0.31! I doubt that one is that bad - is it? Check out my blog SEO for Dummies

Interesting. Do I like it? 'Like' may be a bit strong. But it could make me think to cut out any 'fluff'. Https://chazfox.com/

Brandon, The lower the score the less bull is found in your content. Here's a snap shot of my score from a recent article I tested. Bullshit Index :0.1
Your text shows only a few indications of 'bullshit'-English.
You see the lower the score the fewer instances of BS or so that's how I took it... Katie McMurray

Yup that's true Katie. The lower the score the less BS. However, my product reviews have extremely low scores and articles that I actually wrote have more BS Check out my blog SEO for Dummies

I would think it is due to the LSI index, you no doubt have those articles rich with relevance.

Chef Keem, How come you are still wearing your Halloween costume today? Is this a permanent feature? Something to do with the BlaBla meter? Read one of my books Sheila's Books

Interesting tool, but what do you think they are measuring? And what is the range of scores? Is the worst score 1, for example, or 10? So far the articles I've checked are fairly low, but I wonder what exactly they are measuring before I waste any more time checking. Do you think there are certain word combinations that detect BS? I know as humans we get a certain feeling or sense of when someone is BS-ing us. Face to face we can tell even more because we have body language and tone of voice to go by. (Though even sometimes our perceptions of that are subjective -- someone may be shy or tired and so doesn't project much confidence or authority in what he or she says.) I'd be interested to hear what others think of this. Also who created this tool? Is it from Wizzley or from some unknown entity? Read one of my books Sheila's Books

Sheila - thanks for the tip on my Halloween avatar hangover. :) I wouldn't take that BlaBlaMeter too seriously. It appears to have some ability to detect fluff but is otherwise not very effective. I've pasted some terrible spam text from this morning into the box - it still showed only 29% BS. Here's an excerpt of that spam text: There could be many factors why a laptop or computer is not work. If no automobiles except for battery power, then the problem might be battery power. Perhaps battery power is billed or battery power may crack. Surprisingly, most battery power cannot be overcharged because the battery charger instantly closes off when battery power is complete. In most situations, if you are operating your laptop or notebook AC adaptor is used to fill devices and battery power should not be "in cost or dry." Pretty bad, huh? My you're looking handsome this evening, Chef! What a change from yesterday! The meter was fun to play with, but too much of a distraction for me. Sorry if I sounded a bit heavy earlier. I just wondered about its source was all. Read one of my books Sheila's Books

Well my recent Star Trek article on here ranks pretty well at .12. However, a more technical article on Business Ethics that I have on a different website ranks poorly - I extracted a small part of the text and it ranked a whopping .94! OUCH! So it seems that technical articles might do poorly on this tool!!! I honestly don't believe I can write that much BS!!! SimeyC
