Hi
I just noticed that none of the adsense ads automatically inserted are wrapping text. Any ideas on how to get the intro modules to wrap around the adsense? I have wrap clicked in.

I want it to look for example like this: http://wizzley.com/how-the-odds-are-stacked-against-british-writers-online/

Hi Photography,
You wrote that article over a year ago, so it's on the older template. In the meantime, the lay-out has been updated to include the area which wraps around the adverts.
You can still do it though. Open the page in edit mode, then look to the very top, where you add in the title. You will now see a second space underneath. Copy and paste your first module into there and press save.
Hey presto! It will wrap. :)
yours
Jo

I haven't been here in a while. Does that mean I need to do that for all my Wizzley pages (Thank heavens there aren't many.)?

If you like to have text floating around the ad, then you'd have to insert an intro text for your old articles. It looks nicer and results in a higher CTR, but it's not required.

Hi:
Sorry to be so thick-headed - again, but I don't understand the text wrapping instructions. I see lots of articles that have ads beautifully wrapped around text, but I can't figure how to do that - even after reading your post.
Also, is there a way to place an ad module at a certain point in the article? When i try to do this, I get a message that there has to be text first - but, I do have text first I'm confused.

You need a bit of intro text, and then more text in a text module. After that you can place an Amazon module.
If you see a page where something is done that you like, give specifics and a link to that page here. Then we can look at it and try to explain it.

I have intro text, but when I try to add an Amazon or Ebay module it positions itself at the top and there doesn't seem to be an option for placing it anywhere else - except at the bottom of the page. Either way, I can't find any way to "wrap" my text around anything.
For example, here's a page = http://wizzley.com/why-i-shaved-my-head/ - where the ads are at the top of the text module. If I try to do this I get a warning box that I first have to add text or a table of contents. I can't figure out what else I can do since I already have all the text I can write.
Here's another example of what I'm referring to - http://wizzley.com/the-semi-mythical-maelgwn-gwynedd-pt-5/ - note how the text is wrapping itself around the amazon ad? I can't figure out how that is done.
Thanks again for your help.

The shaved head page has a picture module after the intro, then the Amazon module. We try to keep authors from starting right away with ads (after the intro). Google doesn't like that.
There are arrows in the tool bar of the module editor. With those you can move modules up and down.
Here's a tutorial on creating two columns on your page, which is how Jo placed text and pictures (ads) next to one another. http://wizzley.com/two-column-tutorial/

Read it, watched it and I've been trying it until my fingers are about to fall off my hand. Still no text wrapping and still no placement of ad modules within the text (only at the very bottom or top). I know there must be a way but I'm just not getting it.

I've just look at your Cat page. It seems to me the problem is that your text module is too long. Instead of cramming the entire text into one module you might consider breaking it up into several text modules. Then they become easier to position next to ad units.
Alternate between full width text module and 2 half-width modules that are side-by-side, to get a more interesting layout.
To move them around, simply drag and drop, or use the little arrow buttons on each module. This may take a bit of practice until you get it just the way you want.

Thanks. That makes sense - although I still question why Wizzley can't format pages so that text wraps automatically or more easily.
