As Wizzley grows and we authors have more and more wizzes, we need to be mindful to interlink our pages for maximum backlinking, traffic, and authority.

Wizzley does a good job with the related articles feature on the right side, but those may not be your own pages.

Interlink your relevant articles in two easy ways:

  1. text links
  2. articles list (or link list)

As you recognize a group of articles that are related, go back and interlink them with one of both of those methods. I'm doing this with my kitchen/cooking pages since I have around five of them now. That's a good number for the articles list, I think.

Glad you brought it up (and no I am not stalking you, I'm just trolling this place for the first time and you keep being interesting with the same ideas / questions) - re: innerlinking.

It's great for rankings and traffic direction, all that, but I thought we were limited to 2 self-serving links?

I was going to add my RSS feed to my site and then article list my other articles here on Wizzley...but thought that would get me into hot water.

Can we do that?

We're not all that strict with the number of links allowed. But if they look spammy--and too many links do look spammy--or if they're not useful to readers, we will mark the page for correction. It's all about common sense and a good reader experience.

I'm with you on that, Chef. If this place loses that forethought then we all sink together. So love how it's set up - thanks for clarifying.

Good points, Jimmie, especially if the pages are related in some way.
