how about offering medium?
I like the amazon gallery feature, however, sometimes I like to spotlight just one product there. When I do that neither the small or big look right. How about adding a choice of medium? ;)
small is a bit small and big is too big | |

Let's see what Simon sez tomorrow, Janet. Them Germans are sleeping right now. Hopefully. Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

When I use the gallery option, I put two capsules next to each other - that makes the picture a good size and you can have text on the left. Or have you tried that? |

Yes, I have done that. I was just hoping to have the option of spotlighting one product. Even if they can just make the 'big' image smaller, that would work. I just can't see anyone using an image that large on their page. It would be ideal of one of the options was the same size as the images in the text modules. |

Janet21: 20. Nov 2011, 10:29 Look through some of our pages, Janet. You'll be surprised how many authors use the large size. It's a real good way to spotlight a product, if you don't feature too many of them on a page. You could also place a medium-size product image into a text module (without aff-link), and then set it next to an Amazon module with a small image and an edited, unique description. Doesn't look too bad, either. However, I'm still trying to reach our German developers to find out what we can do. Might be tomorrow before I get an answer. I personally love the big size - it's in your face and you can make it look like it's not an Amazon product, two things I think which are more likely to make people click. |

I guess it just didn't work on the pages I was tyring it out on. ;) |

Yeah, we already thought about including a medium sized image option. For that, we'll have to reduce the size of the large image, since Amazon doesn't provide any other image sizes. I've put in on our todo list. |

Not to be difficult. But I've already written some Wizzles with the large Amazon image. If you resize it, will it affect my layout. It took a while to get the text and image capsules to line up. |

I don't think such a change would affect existing ads. But I'll ask Simon, just to be sure. Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

Simon sez: if we adjust the size options within the Amazon module, it will NOT change anything on existing pages. Calm. Down. Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

Simon sez: We've just included a new, additional image size for the galery option - And yepp, it didn't break any existing article layout. Possibly, we'll still change the size of the new medium image a bit during the next 24 h. We'll do some optimizations and see, what's most useful. |
