Two suggestions/Issues

1. This morning when trying to use the search option in the Amazon capsule, it would only bring up one item (yes I did change the amount of items to display.) I know there were more than one. Then after trying again it said there were no items found. I did just find it manually and insert it, but just letting you know.

2. When uploading/linking to an image, occasionally I forget to press 'upload' and instead click save. When I do it has an error message and then all the details I've entered (title, link etc) disappear and I have to start again. Any chance the info could stay there? I'm sure I'm not the only person who clicks before they think!

Thanks =)

I do this ALL.THE.TIME.

100 wizzes and I STILL do it if I'm not focused.

Hmm...I don't know if this can be designed so that "choosing" an image automatically triggers the upload. I'd have to ask Simon about it.

For right now I'd recommend that you remember some kind of mantra, like, choose...upload...save (repeat). And I don't mean to be facetious, at all.

I make this mistake, too. Not too often, though, because I don't have much time to create wizzles, anymore.

I tested the Amazon module and it works correctly. Maybe there was a glitch on Amazon, Susannah?

I have noticed that when I use "all" the amazon module tells me there are no items often, but when I use a subcategory that the items are in, then they populate.

Thanks Chef. It's not a big issue, just annoying sometimes. Maybe if hitting "save" could trigger the upload? I'm not sure of the technical side though lol.

And thanks Paula. That may be the issue, because I was searching "all."

Chef,

An additional pop up window may be useful here, if Simon can create code that 'sees' when a user clicks the save button, yet the system detects that the upload button has not been pressed yet. The pop up window may something like 'Please first upload your photo/picture before selecting the save button' (With the usual OK/Cancel buttons)

Come on, Jase....more scripts? Let's just get used to our tools and procedures. It's not THAT hard, is it?

I'd love to tell you it gets better by 180 Wizzles. But it doesn't ...

It would be good if save automatically added/uploaded the current item in those dialogues. It would be a more efficient workflow too.

I really don't think this issue warrants a new script or god forbid a pop-up window. I've managed to train myself to pay attention when I select photos and products. If we can't focus and work efficiently on our end, Wizzley will become a bloated slow platform. I'd rather concentrate for a few critical moments.

A few extra lines of code just solved the problem. Make sure to reload the image upload popup to see the effect. It won't help reloading Wizzley itself, since the image upload takes place in a different window.

Actually, it happened to me as well - often enough :-P From now on, ff you forget to click on the upload button, it will be clicked automatically - as long as there is no URL inserted in the image field above.

Cheers :)

*argl* you were talking about the image module? Tongue out Darn, I fixed the upload inside the text editor, lol ... ok, I'll look into the other image upload form ...

Ok, done - the image module now follows the same path. With a title and an image url or selected file present, the upload button is clicked automatically.

p.s.

And *yes*, that happened to me more than once, too :-P
