I know I've read it somewhere on the site but can't find it now. My external hard drive on which I store the bulk of my images is playing up and i don't want to mess with it until my more knowledgeable geeky friend has a look at it. I thought I had also backed my Turkish images up on a DVD but can't find it now (I'm moving house soon and have packed some stuff ready for the move perhas that's why). I need some images to illustrate article on Turkey. Can anyone help me out with the URL for a free site?

http://pixabay.com just put "turkey" in the search field. No attributions necessary. Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

Flickr is probably a good source. Be sure to specify copyright-free images in the dialogue boxes. http://www.flickr.com/search/advanced/ Pixabay has a good archive of public domain images. I sometimes also turn to Morguefile. Again you need to click on the Free Photos button. |

Great minds think alike, Rupert! Pixabay has A LOT of free high-quality Turkey images. (And it's our own site.) Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.

Many thanks. I hope to have some of my own by Sunday, as they will better illustrate what I'm writing about. Meantime, I've found some really good ones on the site (which I've bookmarked for future ref.).
Thanks again. MariNicholson
